Abandoned Border Terrier Puppies
January 21st, 2016

You may have noticed on social media, TV in in the newspapers about a litter of Border Terrier Puppies that were dumped in Dorset.

These little mites were barely 14 weeks old, they had mange, eye infections and worms.  Since then they have had UTI’s, chest infections and one puppy had to stay in the vets overnight due to stomach problems.

However, they are now being cared for by Hounds First Sighthound Rescue and they are improving daily.  All the various ailments are being treated and they slowly being socialised in the way they should have been a long time ago, they are very wary of human touch but coming on so well, playing in the garden, meeting children and goats!

Feelwells have offered to provide food and puppy milk for these pups free of charge for as long as they need it and we have also donated to their vet fees.  We have four little Border Terriers of our own and the plight of these little puppies has touched our hearts.

You can follow the puppies story on Facebook either via the Feelwells page or via Hounds First Sighthound Rescue page
